Some are synced from a host. Before loading them, Claude Code now reads the host's skill catalog from a location the host provides. If it cannot read it, it logs why and loads none of those skills. Before, it loaded them straight from the skills folder.\n\nThe warning about skills that did not load now lists being missing, unreadable, not in the host's location, or reached through a link as reasons.\n\n**Why**\n\nIf the host's catalog cannot be read, synced skills now stay unloaded instead of being loaded from somewhere unchecked.
