Claude Code gains a step that waits for the session's transcript (its record of the conversation) to finish uploading before the session is handed over. It first sorts the session into one of these states:\n\n- deferred\n\n- held\n\n- live\n\n- no transcript copy\n\nIt then waits for pending uploads to drain.
