For plugins managed through an account, Claude Code now reads a `manifest.json` file at the plugin's root folder before loading the plugin's skills. That file lists skills, each marked as switched on or off.\n\n- A skill folder marked as switched off is skipped.\n\n- A skill folder that is not listed is also skipped when there is a switched-off entry that does not name a folder.\n\n- If `manifest.json` cannot be read, is malformed or is too large, the plugin loads no skills at all.\n\nBefore, every skill folder was loaded.\n\n**Why**\n\nAccount-managed plugins can now hide individual skills. A broken `manifest.json` removes every skill from that plugin, so check that file first if a plugin's skills go missing.\n\n- Area: Plugins\n- Names: `manifest.json`\n- Tier: Use it now\n- Useful: 4\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: both\n- Heads-up: no"}
