Some of these settings arrange named items into groups. Until now a group could only list item names. A group entry can now also be an object that restates some of the settings of a named item.\n\nThere are also new checks on how groups are written. A group may name each entry only once.\n\n**Why**\n\nAdministrators get finer control when they configure Claude Code by group.
