Claude Code keeps a list of settings it no longer uses, and that list changed:\n\n- `coworkVmWindowsShareFallbackEnabled` is now retired. The Windows VM file-share fallback it switched was removed once Microsoft fixed the underlying Windows regression (KB5129195), and nothing replaces it.\n\n- `disableMobileSimulatorTools` moves under the `workspace` section and is now read from Claude Code managed settings.\n\nSeveral Vertex settings are also now marked as applying to the desktop app.\n\n**Why**\n\nAdministrators who still set either of these keys should know that one no longer does anything and the other is read from a different place.\n\n- Area: Managed Settings\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 1\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: org\n- Heads-up: no"}
