A schema is the list of settings a config file may contain. These apply to the desktop app, not the command-line Claude Code.\n\n- `builtinBrowser`: `builtinBrowserEnabled` (off by default), `builtinBrowserDefaultDomainPolicy` (`allow` or `block`), `builtinBrowserAllowedDomains` and `builtinBrowserBlockedDomains`.\n\n- `sessionRetention`: `chatSessionRetentionDays`, `coworkSessionRetentionDays`, `codeSessionRetentionDays` and `sessionRetentionHold`.\n\n- Plugin MCP tool policy now covers any installed plugin.\n\n**Why**\n\nAdmins can turn on the desktop app's built-in browser and limit which sites it reaches. They can also set how many days chat, cowork and code sessions are kept, or put a hold on deletion.\n\n- Area: Desktop App\n- Tier: Use it now\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: org\n- Heads-up: no"}
