A new check lets a verdict from the server be carried over when a turn is handed off:\n\n- It reads `tengu_auto_mode_config` (fallback null). Nothing has been read about this gate yet.\n\n- The carried verdict is taken only if `takeCarriedServerVerdict` is true, the value came from a payload this process fetched, and a further helper returns false.\n\n- Before that, it may wait for the flag fetch at the start of the turn.\n\n- When the verdict is not taken, the log says \"takeCarriedServerVerdict is not on in a payload this process fetched from the default flag server\".\n\n- New usage data is recorded about the server verdict and the flag wait at turn hand-off, about refreshing files by name at hand-off, and about a conversation rewind that has expired.\n\n**Why**\n\nWith no value from the server the check stays inert, so nothing changes in practice unless the setting is supplied. The new records show that turn hand-off and conversation rewind are being worked on.\n\n- Flag `tengu_auto_mode_config`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.292; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Auto Mode\n- Tier: Under the hood\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
