They are now wrapped in tags that carry a nonce, which is a one-off random code. The digest notes that anything shaped like a tag but without that code is just text inside the digest.\n\nThey are also capped in size:\n\n- Long inputs are shortened.\n\n- Over the character limit, earlier items are left out, with a note saying how many were omitted.\n\n**Why**\n\nText inside a digest cannot pass itself off as a real tag.
