A program that embeds Claude Code through the SDK can send a request to set which MCP servers a session uses. Before, Claude Code could put off connecting to those servers. Now it always connects them right away.\n\nThe same request can also now refuse some tools with a new error message.\n\n**Why**\n\nIf your app sets MCP servers this way, they are now connected eagerly. Expect the connection work to happen at that point rather than later.\n\n- Flag `tengu_ptc_enabled`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.292; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: on) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: MCP\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
