Claude Code now contains an install flow used as `claude plugin install <plugin> --marketplace <source>`. If that marketplace has not been added yet, the flow adds it to your user settings. It then installs the plugin from that marketplace. It shows a usage error when `--marketplace` is used wrongly, and it can print its result as JSON.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis would let you install a plugin from a new marketplace with one command instead of adding the marketplace first.\n\n- Area: Plugins\n- Names: `claude plugin install`, `--marketplace`\n- Tier: Use it now\n- Useful: 5\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
