Bare mode does not use the sign-in that `\/login` saves. Claude Code now shows a message explaining this. The message says bare mode reads your credentials from either of these:\n\n- the `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY` environment variable\n\n- an `apiKeyHelper` given through `--settings`\n\nIt tells you to set or change one of them and restart Claude Code.\n\n**Why**\n\nBefore, `\/login` in bare mode went through a sign-in that had no effect.
