How they are delivered changed:\n\n- Groups: several events can now be delivered together as one group. A group holds from one up to a capped number of events, none may be marked `wake: false`, and it is rejected if it is too large after it is stamped. Before, only single events could be sent.\n\n- Declared fields: events can carry a `declared` set of fields, which is checked and sent as JSON. Unknown kinds are filtered out. The `poll_events` message gains `declared` and a `userRoleGuard` setting, which builds the message text a different way.\n\n- Queue limits: the check on how many events are waiting now counts the arriving events.\n\n- Outcome: delivering a poll event now reports a reason instead of a plain yes or no.\n\n- New notices: Claude can now be told \"One or more messages from other sessions arrived; they follow as the result of a Poll call. This is not a message from the person.\" or \"One or more messages from other sessions could not be shown here and cannot be retrieved.\" Whether the flag `tengu_velvety_ripple` (fallback false) is on is now recorded alongside these notices.\n\nIn readings taken before this release, the flag service returned `tengu_velvety_ripple` off for this site's account and for the anonymous baseline. No reading has been taken under this release yet.\n\n**Why**\n\nMessages from other sessions are now labelled as not coming from you, and a group of events either arrives whole or not at all.\n\n- Flag `tengu_velvety_ripple`: Off in both readings (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.287; this account: off, anonymous baseline: off, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Session Messaging\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5"}
