Each one records which earlier message it came from.\n\nClaude Code now finds that earlier message and rewrites it to carry the queued prompt's own ID. The step that reads these IDs used to read only the link back to the source message. It can now read any named field.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis changes how a queued prompt lines up with its original message in the conversation history.
