Tokens are the units the model's context is measured in. The idle spell is 75 minutes.\n\nThat idle time used to be counted only from the moment your own last request finished. It now counts from whichever came later: your last request finishing, or another turn finishing elsewhere. A turn is one round of Claude reading a message and replying.\n\nThe hint's thresholds can still be adjusted with the `CLAUDE_CODE_IDLE_THRESHOLD_MINUTES` and `CLAUDE_CODE_IDLE_TOKEN_THRESHOLD` environment variables.\n\n**Why**\n\nThe hint no longer suggests clearing the conversation while other turns have finished recently.\n\n- Area: Slash Commands\n- Names: `\/clear`\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 1\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5"}
