The new `--desktop` flag opens the Claude Desktop app. Claude Code stops with an error if you combine it with:\n\n- `--bg`, `--background` or `--routine`, which run Claude Code in the background\n\n- `--worktree` or `--tmux`\n\nThe background commands `logs`, `attach`, `stop`, `kill`, `respawn` and `rm` used to be recognized only as the first word after `claude`. They are now also recognized after general options, as in `claude --settings x logs`. Any `--settings` or `--managed-settings` given before them is applied first.\n\n**Why**\n\nYou can put general options before background commands, and those settings take effect.
