It refuses in some situations. Those refusals used to share one general message. They now have separate, reworded messages for more cases:\n\n- The project's `.git` is a symbolic link (a shortcut to another location), which the upload does not follow.\n\n- A git pointer file is hard-linked, meaning the same file appears under more than one name.\n\n- The project's own folder could not be examined at the time.\n\nThe message about git configuration files pulled in from elsewhere now lists which config files are checked.
