When you switch its spawn mode, Claude Code sends a small usage report (telemetry, meaning anonymous data about how the product is used) that records the change. That report now records the mode you just switched to. Before this build it filled that field from a different value.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis only affects the usage data Claude Code sends.
