It appears only when extra usage is off and `\/usage-credits` is available. Otherwise no hint is shown.\n\n- Pro and Max on the five-hour limit: the \"\/upgrade to keep using Claude Code\" hint no longer appears once extra usage is turned on.\n\nOn the highest Max plan, `\/upgrade` now also says you are already on the top plan and suggests `\/usage-credits` for more usage, when that command is available. Otherwise it keeps the earlier advice to use `\/login` and switch to an account billed through the API.\n\nSetting `DISABLE_EXTRA_USAGE_COMMAND` hides the new hint, and `DISABLE_UPGRADE_COMMAND` turns off `\/upgrade`.\n\n**Why**\n\nPeople already on the top Max plan were being told to upgrade, which they cannot do.
