When something is wrong with those dependencies, Claude Code shows an error naming the plugins and marketplaces involved. For these errors, the names are now passed through a sanitizer, which cleans out unsafe characters, before they are shown:\n\n- Dependency cycles, where plugins depend on each other in a loop\n\n- Cross-marketplace dependencies, where a plugin needs one from a marketplace not on the allowlist\n\n- Missing dependencies\n\nBefore, the names were inserted into the message exactly as supplied.\n\n**Why**\n\nPlugin and marketplace names come from the marketplace.
