Each record stores an `installLocation`, the folder the item lives in. That value is now recomputed from the record's `source` when it is read, instead of being used exactly as stored:\n\n- Known marketplaces: each entry's `installLocation` is recomputed before the list is returned.\n\n- Installed plugins: the `installLocation` is rewritten from `source` before the entry is checked for validity. Before, the stored value was checked as it was.\n\n**Why**\n\nIn practice, the saved path no longer decides on its own where Claude Code looks.
