The footer under the prompt now shows and manages that selection:\n\n- A new footer status shows `IDE` with ` \u00b7 connecting\u2026` or ` \u00b7 disconnected` when relevant, a cloud session link with its reconnect state, and a HIPAA badge.\n\n- When the connected IDE has a selection, the footer adds a dimmed `N lines` count or the selected file's name, shortened to fit the width.\n\n- The footer's selectable items gain `ideSelection`, next to tasks, memories, frame, bagel, bridge and workflows. Enter on a selected item goes through the `footer:openSelected` action.\n\n- The Footer keybinding context now binds Backspace and Delete to `footer:dismiss` by default. The action existed before but had no default key. With the IDE selection item selected, it removes the selection from context.
