If it does not land, it is taken back. Several things were removed:\n\n- The loop that retried the upload with pauses between tries\n\n- The status line saying it was waiting and would go on as soon as the problem cleared\n\n- An early wait while the local git index had unresolved merge conflicts\n\nRetries now happen in a different step, which also cleans up when it runs out of tries.
