If it cannot re-read that file, uninstall now keeps everything the plugin saved:\n\n- its options\n\n- its secrets\n\n- its usage record\n\n- its data folder\n\nThe success message says what was kept and how to delete it yourself. Machine-readable output from the uninstall command reports a `savedKept` reason when this happens.\n\n**Why**\n\nThe same plugin may still be installed at another level, for example for one project as well as for you everywhere.
