Claude Code sends that check your permission rules. When those rules are too large and have to be shortened or have some rules dropped, Claude Code now reports:\n\n- how large they were before and after, in bytes\n\n- how many allow rules were dropped\n\n- how many rules there were\n\nBefore, the trimming happened with no report.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis gives diagnostic information about oversized permission setups in auto mode.
