That set now also includes `LC_ALL` and `LANGUAGE`, both set to `C`. This makes git print its messages in English, in the same format regardless of your system's language settings.\n\n**Why**\n\nClaude Code reads git's output. On a computer set to a language other than English, git's messages could come back in that language and be misread.
