Remote managed settings are settings an organization's administrator delivers to Claude Code from a server. Background plugin installation now waits for those settings to finish loading before it starts.\n\nIf the remote managed settings do not finish loading, Claude Code logs a message and installs plugins using whatever settings it has loaded so far.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis means plugins installed at startup are normally installed under your organization's full policy, not a partial one.
