The apps gateway, the service that hands out this policy, now checks which app is asking. If a Claude Desktop session asks and the policy has no `desktopSessionPayload`, the gateway answers 404 \"not served to Claude Desktop sessions\". It also logs why: either `serve_to_desktop` is not set, or the CLI settings are empty.\n\n**Why**\n\nPolicy meant for the command-line tool is not applied to Claude Desktop by accident.
